We head from our pickup points throughout the Blackmore Vale directly to The Devon County Show which is celebrating its 125^th show.

Every day there is a packed programme of entertainment in the main arena which this year includes the Dancing Diggers and Robot Skidsters.  There is over 1,500 sheep, 500 cattle, 100 pigs, 150 goat and 75 alpacas that you can meet.

Enjoy the most mouth-watering food and drink the West Country has to offer including food to snack on, food to take home, food to try and food to watch.  There is a giant marquee bigger than a premier league football pitch which is home to an array of craft stands, floral competitions, home baking competitions and this year it will also be home to the world’s largest ever knitted bunting and hopefully a Guinness World record at 32,000 flags and 8kms long.

There are also the magnificent heavy horses to the super cute Shetland ponies to visit maybe with a carrot or two!!  There is plenty for everyone to see and enjoy.
