You will be staying at the Hotel: 4 star rated – St Pierre Marriott Hotel & Country Club, St Pierre Park, Chepstow. Housed within a historic 14th-century manor home in Chepstow, St. Pierre Marriott Hotel & Country Club is surrounded by 400 acres of parkland. Natural beauty surrounds the hotel with the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean on our doorstep. The hotel includes complimentary access to the pool & leisure club and you can book Spa treatments (extra charges apply).

Day 1: We depart the Blackmore Vale area and head to our hotel with a comfort and lunch stop en-route, and on arrival you have time to get settled into the hotel and get refreshed before you can enjoy your 3 course dinner plus tea/coffee.

Day 2: On our first day after breakfast, we head for Wales Millennium Centre theatre, Bute Place, Cardiff bay to depart on a 2 hour guided tour of Cardiff City bay, the waterfront barrage and Penarth Seafront.

Day 3: After breakfast, we are heading to visit the historic walled town of Chepstow on the banks of the river wye, which is dominated by the oldest surviving stone castle in Britain. We will follow the twists and turns of the wonderful wye valley past the magnificent ruins of Tintern Abbey before continuing to the Georgian market town of Monmouth which is famous for it’s unique 13^th century Monnow bridge.

Day 4: Today, we head for a nice ride on the Brecon mountain railway, where we are due to depart Pant station at 12.30hrs and Torpantau Station at 12.55. PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND ALSO UNTIL THE DAY OF TRAVEL THE TRAIN MAYBE DEISEL OR STEAM HAULED.

Day 5: Today, we depart our hotel and head back to the Blackmore vale area, with a comfort and lunch stop on route.
