We head from our pickup points throughout the Blackmore Vale directly to The Mayflower Theatre in Southampton for your matinee performance of “Mamma Mia”.

It started as a hit song by ABBA, then it became a musical and now it’s a phenomenon.  MAMMA MIA! First premiered in London and has since been seen by tens of millions of people across the globe.

Set on a Greek island, the musical tells the story of Sophie, a bride to be who wants nothing more than her unknown father to walk her down the aisle.  So, she invites three of her fiercely independent mothers’ ex-lovers to her wedding in a move that could make or break her special day.

ABBA classics such as “Dancing Queen” and “Take A Chance on Me” are woven into an original narrative that is funny and ironic, occasionally cheeky and unapologetically optimistic

The Mayflower Tehatre has recently received a £7.5 million makeover with a major refurbishment that has been carried out on the 90 year-old venue. The venue has been completely repainted and given a new red and gold colour scheme. All the seats in the stall and circle have been removed and replaced with 1,659 brand-new wider seats, while the seats in the balcony have been reupholstered.
