Christmas in Blackpool – Imperial Hotel

Celebrate Christmas beside the sparkling Irish Sea with five magical days of festive fun, traditional celebrations, and coastal splendour at Blackpool’s elegant Imperial Hotel on North Promenade.

DAY ONE – WEDS 23RD DEC 2026 – Travel to Blackpool with comfort stops en route, arriving at the Imperial Hotel around 4:00 pm. Enjoy a festive welcome with sherry or a soft drink and mince pies, then settle into your comfortable room. Gather for dinner and meet your fellow guests as the Christmas celebrations begin.

DAY TWO – THURS 24TH DEC – CHRISTMAS EVE – After breakfast, embark on a scenic excursion to the stunning Lake District (weather permitting). Enjoy free time in beautiful Bowness-on-Windermere, exploring the picturesque lakeside town, browsing charming shops, and admiring spectacular mountain views. If the weather is unsuitable, this trip may move to Boxing Day with free time in Blackpool instead. Return to the hotel for an evening of festive magic. Enjoy a magnificent 3-course Gala Dinner with live entertainment and seasonal celebrations. You never know – if you’ve been good, Santa might even pay a visit! Dress code required.

DAY THREE – FRI 25TH DEC – CHRISTMAS DAY – Wake up to Christmas morning by the sea! Enjoy a leisurely morning, perhaps a bracing coastal walk, then gather for a wonderful traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, crackers, and festive music. This is Christmas the way it should be – with none of the cooking or washing up! The afternoon brings festive games, entertainment, and Christmas sing-alongs. Evening features a relaxed buffet dinner, perfect for winding down after the big day’s celebrations.

DAY FOUR – SAT 26TH DEC – BOXING DAY – Free day to explore Blackpool’s iconic attractions – the Tower, three piers, Winter Gardens, Stanley Park, and possibly the famous Illuminations. Alternatively, if the weather prevents the Christmas Eve trip, enjoy your Windermere excursion today. Return for evening meal and final night entertainment.

DAY FIVE – SUN 27TH DEC – After breakfast and fond farewells, journey home with comfort stops, arriving back in Blackmore Vale carrying wonderful Christmas memories.
