Join us on a trip to Llandudno,  a coastal town in north Wales. It’s known for North Shore Beach and the 19th-century Llandudno Pier. Northwest of the town are the cliffs of Great Orme headland. Ancient tunnels lead to a cavern at Great Orme Mines. A 1902 tramway travels to the headland’s summit.

We will be staying at the Llandudno Bay Hotel, a four-star hotel offering the ‘Wow-Factor’ from arrival to departure. Upon arrival, a selection of relaxing sun loungers, modern swinging egg chairs, and luxurious outside furniture is available for dining and cocktails whilst listening to the sounds of the sea.

Day 1: Depart the Blackmore Vale area for a comfort and lunch stop on route to the hotel, where upon arrival you will be able to freshen up and unwind, before dinner.

Day 2: After breakfast we will be traveling to the Welsh Highland Railway. We will embark on a single journey from Caernarfon to Porthmadog then on to Portmeirion Village where you will visit the village and gardens.

We will then visit the Inigo Jones Slate Works founded in 1861, to produce school writing slates. There is a self guided tour of the works. After there is a craft showroom, gift shop and cafe.

Day 3: After breakfast there is a free day of leisure to explore Llandudno. u may like to stroll along the promenade & pier, go into town or perhaps take a ride on the Great Orme Tramway & enjoy the breathtaking views. (trips not included)

Day 4: Following breakfast we will travel to the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Take a once in a lifetime adventure on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, which has been described as one of the most scenic railway journeys in the world. Departs from Llanberis Station before the climb to the summit of Snowdon, a journey experienced by millions of travellers since 1896. In the afternoon we will join the Ffestiniog Railway for a single journey to the historic slate quarrying town of Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Day5: After enjoying a full Welsh breakfast, you say goodbye to the hotel and head back to the Blackmore Vale area with a comfort and lunch stop on route. We hope to be back in the area early/mid evening.
