Spend New Year’s Eve at The Burlington, a Grade 2 listed building, ideally situated on Eastbourne’s picturesque seafront. Eastbourne also boasts the 19th-century Eastbourne Pier and a 1930s bandstand, the Towner Art Gallery which includes modern British works. Nearby, Redoubt Fortress, built during the Napoleonic Wars, has a military museum. Southwest along the coast, in South Downs National Park, are the tall chalk cliffs of Beachy Head and its striped 1902 lighthouse.

Day 1: Depart the Blackmore Vale area for a comfort and lunch stop on route to the hotel which we hope to arrive at early evening, where on arrival you will be greeted by porterage of your bags while you enjoy a welcome glass of Bucks fizz before getting settled in your room and then enjoying a 3 course dinner which has 4 choices including a vegetarian option.

Day 2: New year’s Eve – After breakfast we will head out on a leisurely drive around the local scenery and places of interest. Following this, we head back to the hotel to get all dressed up ready for a drinks reception, which will be held prior to the New Year’s eve gala dinner, where the tables will all be appropriately decorated and there will be entertainment although this is also tbc at this stage.

Day 3: New year’s day – Today there is a leisurely brunch on offer between 10.00am and 12.00pm and then after this you have the day to spend at your own pace and leisure doing as much or as little as you like.

Day 4:  After breakfast we depart the hotel and head back to the Blackmore Vale area, having a lunch and comfort stop on route. We hope to arrive back in the Blackmore Vale area early evening.
