Join us on a three-day trip to see Christmas at Chatsworth House where we will be staying at the Holiday Inn Derby Riverlights.

Christmas scenes will flow throughout Chatsworth House. From a warm and inviting Christmas Eve scene in the State Bedchamber, complete with stockings hung by the fire, to a decadent festive table fit for kings and queens in the Great Dining Room, we invite you to step into the spirit of Christmas at Chatsworth.

And where better to start your Christmas shopping than at the Chatsworth Christmas market. With over 100 market stalls offering a wide range of Christmas gifts and decorations, it’s a great way to start the festive season. Take a break from shopping and enjoy a mulled wine or a German beer at the outdoor bars, or sample some of the delicious food, with gourmet burgers and sausages, hot pork rolls, pancakes, churros, and more.

Day 1: We depart our pick-up points in the Blackmore Vale and leisurely make our way to our hotel with plenty of stops en-route. We aim to arrive at our hotel late afternoon where we can have a welcoming cup of tea or coffee before unpacking and the chance to unwind before our evening meal. 

Day 2: After breakfast, we head to Chatsworth House where within the grounds of the house is a Christmas Market for you to enjoy at your leisure to enjoy the seasonal musical entertainment whilst enjoying warming mulled wine or the German beers on offer or the wide range of gourmet foods. After enjoying the Christmas Market you will be able to head indoors to view the stunning Chatsworth House at its Christmas best. The theme for this year is a closely guarded secret but if previous years are anything to go by you are in for a magnificent display. 

Day 3: After breakfast, we depart from our hotel for the journey home to the Blackmore vale area, arriving early evening.
