A five day trip to celebrate Christmas on the Isle of Wight. We will be staying at The Brunswick Hotel which is set within a stunning location nestled on the coastal path overlooking the English Channel in the seaside resort of Shanklin on the Isle Of Wight. Only a 5 minute walk down hill to the award winning Blue Flag beaches.

Dining in the Horizon Resturant is headed up by the award winning chef Robert Green, who worked under Gordon Ramsey at Petrus in London. The Brunswick hotel also Boasts an outdoor and indoor heated pool and Sauna, plus a conservatory for relaxing. The hotel will in the festive mood and decorated for Christmas, with Christmas music playing in the bar and restaurant areas.

Day 1: We depart the Blackmore Vale and head to our hotel in Shanklin with a comfort break en-route. We will cross the water to the Isle of Wight on one of the Wightlink Ferries from Lymington to Yarmouth. On arrival at the hotel you will be offered mulled wine and a minced pie. You will then have plenty of time to freshen up before dinner at 6:30 pm followed by entertainment from 7:30 until 9:30 pm

Christmas Eve: After breakfast, we head for a mystery ride on the Isle of Wight, taking in some of the iconic views that the island has to offer. After we arrive back you will have some free time before a special Christmas Eve dinner and entertainment in the evening.

Christmas Day: Following Breakfast, we start the Christmas Day festivities with live music followed by a traditional four course Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings there will also be a glass of Fizz!. There will alos be a visit from Father Christmas. Following this, we can all enjoy the festivities and gather around to watch the Kings’s speech (if you so desire). There will also be a Christmas Quiz in the evening.

Boxing Day: Today it is Boxing day and it’s time to wear off the Christmas dinner, so we will take you out for a lovely drive and if you so wish you can enjoy some fresh Island air with a brisk walk. We will return for some relaxation followed by a 3 course Boxing Day roast dinner with Festive Entertainment.

Day 5: After breakfast we say our farewells and start the return journey home. We will join the Wightlink Ferry from Yarmouth to Lymington. On our journey back we will stop for lunch and then have a leisurely journey back to Blackmore Vale arriving late afternoon/early evening.
