Day 1: We depart the Blackmore Vale and head to Lincoln with a stop for lunch. We aim to get to our hotel for mid-afternoon where you will be greeted with tea or coffee on arrival and time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 2: Christmas Eve. After breakfast you are free to explore Lincoln at your leisure. Maybe wander to the Usher Gallery to see classic works by Turner and Lowry. Or climb up Steep Hill which can be a little exhausting but it’s worth the effort, with houses dating back to Norman times and charming tea rooms if you need to catch your breath. At the top of the hill, you can wander around beautiful Lincoln cathedral. Return to the hotel in time for dinner and the entertainment provided by the hotel. If you wish to attend midnight mass at the local church you are able to do so and hot chocolate, tea or coffee will be available on your return.

Day 3: Christmas Day. This includes breakfast, full traditional Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings plus Christmas cake and tea/coffee, light buffet dinner with tea/coffee. If you would like to stroll off the over indulgences the hotel is ideally situated on the Brayford Waterfront for a leisurely stroll. Or you can enjoy the entertainment provided by the hotel during the day and evening.

Day 4: Boxing Day. After breakfast we will take you to Skegness to blow away the cobwebs and enjoy a stroll along the seafront. Your last night at the hotel hosts a Gala dinner with entertainment.

Day 5: After breakfast we say our farewells and start the return journey home. A stop for lunch and then a leisurely journey back to Blackmore Vale arriving late afternoon/early evening.
