You will be staying at the Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel which overlooks the dock front, with views of the River Mersey. The modern accommodation is just 10 minutes’ walk from Albert Dock and Liverpool One shopping complex.

Day 1: We depart the Blackmore Vale area and head to our hotel with a comfort and lunch stop en-route, and on arrival you have time to get settled into the hotel and get refreshed before you can enjoy your 3 course dinner plus tea/coffee.

Day 2: On our first day after breakfast, we head for a 2 hour guided excursion on board the coach for a very scenic introduction to the history, heritage, architecture and attractions of Liverpool. After this, we then depart to enjoy a 50 minute round trip to and from Liverpool Pier Head with the Mersey Ferries River Explorer Cruise Company. The boat itself consists of a mix of outdoor and indoor seating areas.

Day 3: Today we firstly head for the Anderton Boat lift for a river and lift trip – following this we then go onto Port Sunlight Museum for a one hour guided circular tour of Port Sunlight Village giving insight into life as a ‘Sunlighter’ and discover the history and architecture of this fascinating village that was created in 1888 by William Hesketh Lever for his factory workers.

Day 4: Today, you have a day of leisure to explore your surroundings in Liverpool or to relax in the hotel.

Day 5: Today, we depart our hotel and head back to the Blackmore Vale area, with a comfort and lunch stop on route.
