You will be spending Christmas at the The Bryn Howel Hotel, which is a fine Country House property, originally built in 1896, and set at the heart of the beautiful Vale of Llangollen, alongside the Llangollen Canal, with absolutely outstanding views from the Restaurant and many rooms. The famous lounge bar with its oak wood paneled surround and open fire.

23rd December:  We depart the Blackmore Vale and head to Llangollen with a stop for lunch.  We aim to arrive at the hotel for late-afternoon where on arrival you tea and coffee will be served.  You will have time to freshen up before dinner.  After dinner why not join in for a few games.

Christmas Eve – After a full Welsh breakfast you are free to take a leisurely stroll along the canal that runs alongside the hotel grounds or perhaps take a stroll over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct to admire the spectacular views.  You will have a 3 course dinner to enjoy later that evening with a quiz. If you would like to go to Midnight Mass ask the reception team and they will be happy to help you.

Christmas Day – After a comfortable night’s sleep, Breakfast will be served from 8am – 9.30am, take a leisurely stroll to admire the spectacular views and build up a healthy appetite for the 5 Course Christmas Day Lunch which will commence with a glass of Bucks Fizz while enjoying the views from our Cedar Tree Restaurant. After spending the afternoon relaxing at your leisure, the evening will consist of a buffet.

Boxing Day – Breakfast will be served from 8am – 9.30am this morning, after which you have the morning free to yourselves until you head to the Llangollen Royal International Pavilion for the panto in the afternoon.  Dinner will be served from 6.30pm during the evening.

27th December – After Breakfast you will bid you farewell to the hotel and start the return journey home. A stop for lunch en route and then a leisurely journey back to Blackmore Vale.
